PROGRAM COMPONENTS [what participants will do]
Practice facilitating at least one module of the workshop and receive feedback from highly experienced facilitators.
Observe key workshop modules presented and participate in feedback and discussion.
Practice debriefing experiential activities.
Give a short “Speed Lead” presentation to acquaint yourself with the most frequently-asked questions that could come up while facilitating a Leadership Challenge® Workshop and practice addressing those questions.

An in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Kouzes and Posner leadership model [The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership®].
All the elements of a successful leadership development intervention with guidelines for customization.
Complete Facilitation Set with full Facilitator’s Guide, Script and DVD Case Studies to teach and illustrate The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership®. Facilitator Set also includes Facilitator Guides for the LPI® Leadership Practices Inventory Debrief / Workshop, Leadership is Everyone’s Business Workshop, The Challenge Continues Workshop, and the LPI® Coach Training Workshop. Also included in this Facilitation Set are The Leadership Challenge® Values Cards Facilitator’s Guide, The LPI® Action Cards Facilitation, and The Leadership Challenge® Activities Book.
Certificate of Achievement as a Leadership Challenge® Workshop Trained Facilitator.
Eligibility to apply to become a Leadership Challenge® Certified Facilitator requiring approval and ongoing education.
PROGRAM INVESTMENT [what participants will pay]
Tuition for the program is $2350.00 per person which includes all meals and snacks and Facilitator Set which retails for $1299.00. If you attend The Leadership Challenge® Workshop and the Facilitator Training in the same week, we will package the cost for the discounted price of $4100.00.
All meals are included in the workshop price, including optional networking dinner at a local restaurant for continuous learning with the Certified Masters.
The only other expense would be transportation and lodging for those traveling from beyond the Metro-Melbourne / Metro-Orlando area. There are several lodging options we will offer on an individual basis.
FACILITATOR TRAINING PRE-WORK [what participant pre-requisites are required]
Participate in a recent The Leadership Challenge® Workshop, including a recent LPI®.
Preparation for presenting at least one workshop module in a classroom setting.
It is assumed that those attending Facilitator Training demonstrate preparation and have at least five years experience in professional training, facilitation, adult education and / or line management.
Facilitator Training Pre-Work
Participants will be expected to complete certain pre-work assignments in preparation for their facilitator training such as…
Read The Leadership Challenge.
Preparation for delivering a specific module from the workshop.
Recent attendance in The Leadership Challenge® Workshop.
Identification of a visible workplace or public example of one of The Five Practices.
All participants will also be expected to reflect on and identify the areas on which they most need to concentrate, in order to become the best workshop facilitator they can be.
Facilitator Training Agenda
DAY ONE: Focus is on interactive discussion with Q & A about specific participant issues that come up during a typical workshop.

DAY TWO: Focus is on delivering, discussing and getting feedback on a key module from the program. This is usually delivered in a 20-minute module followed by 25 minutes of feedback and discussion of module.
